Commitment to do the Word

  But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. James 1:25 (NKJV)   In the bible passage above, take note of the emphasis I added on the word doer. Over the years I have found out that this word can be the differentiator between a believer who lives a very ordinary life, and a victorious believer. Even though some may choose to differ on this, it stands obvious. There are far too many believers who would rather talk the word than do the word. Like the saying goes, it is not how much you know, but what you do with what you know. What good is it if you know so much of the word, but barely do it? The word cannot profit such a life.     You see, sometimes it is easy to find an excuse to do other things other than the word.
