Supernatural Intervention When Unlikely

 


Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. Ps. 31:2 (KJV).


Supernatural intervention is about a daily occurrence in the lives of God’s children. Many of these interventions are almost unnoticeable, while a few others may be.

Now, there are various situations that you may find yourself that warrant supernatural intervention. In some of these situations, you really expect that the intervention will come, probably because you feel that God is obligated to intervene on your behalf. One of such instance as we see from scriptures is the story of Peter in Acts 12. Peter was imprisoned and the authorities intended to put him to death like they did to James. Peter was not put in prison because of something wrong that he did, but because of the gospel, so you would expect that God would intervene. Another case is that of Paul and Silas in Acts 16. They were also imprisoned because of the gospel, so it looks like God was obligated to intervene on their behalf.

However, there are some other situations in which you may find it difficult to even release your faith for supernatural intervention, probably due to the circumstances that led to the situation. In Acts 27, the scripture narrates the experience of Paul and the other fellows on the ship sailing to Rome. Paul had previously warned of the danger of sailing on at that time, but the captain of the ship had convinced the Centurion that they could proceed on the journey. Eventually, it turned out that they should have given heed to Paul’s warning, because they were now in danger of losing not just the ship, but also their lives. It was at this critical point that they began to listen to Paul. Thank God, Paul understood the mercy of God, so rather than condemning them for their refusal to listen, he encouraged them to expect God’s supernatural intervention.

You also may find yourself in one of that life’s situation that appears as if you brought on yourself, or out of your refusal to heed divine instruction, and the devil is now guilt tripping you against expecting any form of supernatural intervention. Well, I am glad to let you know that God’s mercy has you, and He is more than willing to intervene to deliver you out of that predicament.

First, you must get rid of that guilt mentality, then admit to your Father in Heaven that you missed it, and you desire His mercy and intervention to get things on the right course again. God will definitely come through for you and rescue you out of that situation.

Bear in mind that as long as we are on this part of eternity, the mercy of God is limitless, but the devil will do everything he knows to do to keep you away from accessing it.

I have heard of many testimonies of people, who got into very dire situations by their own making, and I have probably experienced a few myself, but supernatural intervention still came through by God’s mercy.

Turn to God right away, if you are in any of such situation today, ask for His mercy and supernatural intervention where you need it, and hold on in faith for Him to come through. I assure you that you will not be put to shame.
