As I reflect on what to share that will be a great blessing to you this season of Christmas, I could think of no other message than to encourage you to let this Christmas be a time of loving and sharing with OTHERS. Most often we tend to share with only family and friends, but I encourage you this season to step out of that circle to be a greater blessing to OTHERS who are not necessarily family or friends. I leave you with this short piece which you may have read before and I pray that this will be your best Christmas season ever. It was Christmas Eve, 1910. By now you may be wondering why several of our discussions have focused on the subject of faith. Well, the answer is really simple, the scripture tells us that the Just shall live by faith. Since there is no other way for the believer to live, other than by faith, then faith becomes a very important subject of discuss. We have always emphasized the placed and importance of faith in getting answers to prayers, but there are many believers who can’t really even tell whether they are in faith or not. Someone may say I am believing God for so and so but I am not even sure if it is the will of God for me to have it or not. This is a big error that makes a mockery of faith itself. We understand that faith is a spiritual currency with which we transact in the realm of the spirit. Hence, to be poor in faith is to lack sufficient transactional power with which to make dealings beyond the physical. Every believer has a measure of faith, but some have developed theirs while others haven’t really done much. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten . Jesus expressly told the disciples to gather up the fragments from the leftover of the feeding of the multitude. Perhaps the disciples didn’t see any need to gather up the remnant; at least a miracle had taken place, the people had been fed, so they could just forget about that experience because nothing else valuable could come from it.
