Kingdom Principles

Kingdom Principles

One of the major principles that govern the operation of God on the earth is that you must make God your only source of total supply in everything you do. When you rely on him completely you will experience breakthroughs that people can truly attest to as originating from God.
The second principle is that you must understand that everything that can be done and will ever be done about any situation you find yourself(or will ever find yourself in), has already been done by God. God is not just going to do something new now. Your life was predestined and God has already blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Regardless of what you are confronted with today, God has already provided a way of escape for you. It is not your prayer that makes God provide a way of escape but it is a divine provision made for you over 2000 years ago. The inheritance had long been transferred to you. You got this blessing after the resurrection of Jesus. You gained access to spiritual blessings in heavenly places. His divine power has already given you all things. Therefore, you need not show any sign of fear when faced with difficult circumstances. Shut fear out of your life because God has covered you and the issue has already been settled.
You must understand that any situation you find yourself is simply an opportunity for you to discover more of what God has done for you in life. Be thankful about it. This means that issues that seem difficult are simply channels that will open you up to more of God’s grace. By such situations, you will receive a greater supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ within your life. One main reason you are in such a demanding situation is that God wants to create something new in your life. This blessing will magnify Christ in your life on a greater level. You must not fret. Understand that He has blessed you with every spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and no challenge of life can erase this.
Knowing this deeply in your heart, the next step is for you to go up to God and thank Him for the provision that He has made for you in that particular situation. The Bible says, “… for whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith(1John 5:40). Understand that faith is the voice of victory. It overcomes any circumstance! This means that when you work in faith you celebrate victory and that victory overcomes the world-challenges you are faced with. You do not have to struggle to get the victory. It is already yours. Acknowledge this victory in the face of contradictory circumstances and you will breakthrough. Face those situations that tell you that God has not yet settled your issues. Celebrate God’s victory over them. Continue to celebrate before God with the mindset that the issue has already been sorted out or settled. This is the expression of faith at work in you. Faith operates in your heart while doubt operates in your head. Usually when you operate in faith, the darts of doubt may still assault your head. But make sure that from your heart, you acknowledge the fact that God has given you victory and provided a way of escape. Boldly go before the throne of grace, thanking and worshipping God. Rejoice for His grace is sufficient for you!
You must never allow your faith and trust in God waver. Shun the fear of the unknown with the knowledge that you serve an Omniscient God. Stand firmly in His Word. Be assured that He is able to do what He has promised you irrespective of the situation you are faced with. And very soon, you will be glad you held on to Him.

Find Your Place and Stay There

Like a bird that wanders from its nest is a man who wanders from his place. Prov.27:8 (NIV) One of the greatest advantages you can have in life is to find your place early and stay there. The challenges of life come to us all, but you may just find it so overwhelming when you are not in your place, as compared to the person who has found their place. I am sure that you have come across one or two persons in life who excel and have an utter sense of fulfilment in what they do in life. It doesn’t have to be really big sometimes, but you can tell that they are in their place, where they should actually be. You may also have come across some persons whom you will consider clear misfits where they are, and in what they do. The latter set of people are most likely not to be prospering as they should, or I should say, they have potential to prosper more, if they find their place and stay there. The same is true about your life. Sometimes you need to take a step back and ask yourself if you ar...

Two Things to Avoid to be Prosperous

He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster. Prov.18:9 (KJV) In my last piece, I talked about the importance of finding your place, and staying there to command God’s Blessing. I emphasized the importance of staying power in whatever God has called you to do or committed to your hands. In this piece, I will seek to drive the conversation further, talking about two wrong attitudes that will greatly hinder the Blessing of God from finding expression in your life. Our text says the slothful is brother to a great waster, this is a very dangerous company indeed, and always a disaster waiting to happen. These two characters can never prosper and attain God’s highest Blessing. You may be working hard and making mistakes, but you must keep at it because, the man who tries and make mistakes will command the Blessing far more than the man who is slothful. God hates laziness! Laziness can disguise in many ways; a person can be spiritually lazy, and that...

Updated: Don’t Bind the Brook, Don’t Rebuke the Ravens - Simple Lesson in Obedience

Over the years I have come to understand the place of simple obedience to the instructions of God, and the huge difference it could make in one’s life. I have also come to see how easy believers can be in disobedience, yet be able to cover up with some form of spiritual activity, then in the end attempt to pass on the responsibility for their failures on God.   This can possibly account for one of the biggest reasons why there are believers who seem not to be making progress in life in spite of their seeming spirituality. The situation is even more compounded when older believers who should set the example for younger believers fall into this group. The implication is that there will be a generation of young believers who cannot seem to find the proper alignment between the Christian faith and being productive in life.   The story of the prophet Elijah in 1 Kings 17, clearly illustrates my point.  The Word of the Lord had come to the prophet to camp by the bro...
